My growth this semester

To an extent the things that I achieved in the course learning objectives is learning how to present an argument and using persuasive skills to reach to the targeted audience. I learned to use concrete evidence to validate my reasoning within the argument I presented. By understanding the different forms of persuasion to the audience by using logos, pathos, and ethos, I’ve understood how to use each one effectively to appease the audience in my writing. My perception on writing has definitely changed as there are multiple ways to communicate with the person you want to understand your point of view. My writing has evolved this semester because I’ve come to understand the many ways of analyzing different authors presenting their argument and the choice of audience they chose to write to. Using that analysis, I have incorporated that into my own writing to appease my very own audience. Using many different authors as a way to further develop my own writing has helped me a ton through the course of the semester. I see that writing is a very powerful tool in forms of communication that can lead many people to see and hear other perspectives.
